Back in September, Rep Malliotakis (R,NY) introduced HR 9107, the States Helping Apprehend Rogue Exports Act. The bill would require State Departments of Motor Vehicles to share vehicle registration information with the federal government or risk losing access to federal grant funds. No deadlines are provided for the new requirements.
