I replied to a TOOT on Mastodon (https://qoto.org/web/@randahl@mastodon.social/113882129472058629) on discussion of Rep Ogles introduced resolution to amend the Constitution to allow a third-term for Trump: @randahl@mastodon.social The constitutional amendment process is one of the most difficult legislative process to complete, the Republicans do not have anywhere near enough votes to pass this in the House, and if they did the State ratification process is unbelievably slow and there is no chance of 3/4 of the States approving. The bill is for show and to upset Democrats.
