I agree, I would not have expected this much attention until next year. It is still a big thing though to the folks who were in the 101st, and much of the Army in general (at least those of us who were active at the time). I am glad to see the interest even though the answers are still unsatisfactory.
On the flight 1285 article, Admiral Cloudberg this week also had an excellent article about this disaster (https://admiralcloudberg.medium.com/myths-men-and-the-minority-report-the-crash-of-arrow-air-flight-1285-136b296158a2) It's odd that two articles about 1285 would come out so close to each other.
