I posted this comment to a discussion on X about experience working 3rd shift: “I worked overnight at Jack-in-the-Box out of high school a half-century ago. Only worker between 11 pm and 6 am. Cleaned store, served maybe a dozen customers and did homework. Loved it. In the summer went surfing with 2nd shift guys and slept while they worked.”
