I posted the following comment to a discussion on Mastodon about classifications of misinformation: “These descriptions provide more information, but does NewsGuard provide a generic description of how they 'justify' the labels. I am most concerned about the 'explicitly false' label as it can arise out of a misunderstanding of the situation by the information provider not just out-right lies.”
